A name history
If you've been around for a while, or if you go back to my first social media posts about this book, you might've seen me talking about it as #1915wip, BGL, or Beautiful Gilded Lies. The book sold with that title, but my wonderful team at Lake Union thought it didn't quite reflect the core of the story, so my former agent came up with An Inheritance of Lies, and we all loved it. It got approved in summer 2025.
