Rebecca A. Carter is an author, editor, singer, and actress currently living in Madrid, Spain. Represented by Christine Goss at FinePrint Literary, Becca writes spellbinding young adult and adult fiction, focusing on historical, fantasy, romance, dystopias, speculative, mystery, and lyrical prose.

Way before she learned how to read, she used to memorize her bedtime children's books and pretend she could read. She wrote her first story at 11 years old, when she set out on creating an alternative ending and a sequel to The Prince of Mist by Carlos Ruiz Zafón just because she didn't like the ending. But it wasn't until 2009 that she dived into her own stories and storytelling.

She's edited and critiqued many query packages and manuscripts since 2021, and is actively working on building further connections within the publishing industry.

When she's not writing or editing, you'll find her on a filming set or on a stage, singing. She dreams of moving to London, UK, or Paris, FR, and is currently a bilingual English and Spanish speaker. She can also speak Finnish on a basic level and is re-learning French and Swedish. Among her hobbies, lyrical dancing, baton twirling, or playing her guitar (badly). She is a staunch believer of reincarnation and does tarot.
